It’s a new year, full of hope and promise and new stuff. Maybe you got that new tv you wanted, you upgraded your home audio system, or you finally decided to ditch your non-functioning gaming system.

The question most people have is, “What do I do with my old stuff?”

At Moffatt Scrap Iron & Metal Inc. we recycle all kinds of materials, from business scrap to cars, but we also specialize in recycling residential products like electronics and appliances.

Rather than throwing your broken stuff into the garbage, or leaving it on the curb and annoying the neighbours, bring it to us. We’ll ensure that the metal is recycled safely.

You can feel good about making the sustainable choice to bring your electronics and appliances to us instead of driving to the local waste facility and paying them to take your e-waste in some cases, we’ll even pay you for bringing items to us!

What is E-waste?

E-waste is discarded electronic equipment. Electronic recycling is a great way to dispose of your old devices and have the metal recycled and re-purposed. We accept items including:

  • Computers
  • Stereos
  • DVD players
  • CD players
  • Batteries
  • Etc.

Appliance Recycling

Replacing your old appliances can make a real difference in terms of energy efficiency and water efficiency. We accept items including:

  • Dishwashers
  • Dryers
  • Washing machines
  • Faucets
  • Showerheads
  • Etc.

After Hours Disposal

For your convenience, Moffatt Scrap Iron & Metal Inc. provides a 24/7 drop-off container at our facility. You can bring your items here at any time.

If you have a lot of items, we can come and pick them up for you. Please contact us to discuss the details. Depending on your location there may be a small pick-up fee.

Come and visit us in Campbellville, or give us a call, and we’ll help you get rid of the old to make way for the new!
