Our mission is to be the most trusted source for metal recycling, in an environmentally friendly manner that stands above the rest. We have a variety of services and products that many of our customers are unaware of! Here are two things about us you didn’t know — but should!
1. We’ll Pay For Your Scrap Metal – Why Take It To The Dump?
We have a passion for recycling! The first place consumers usually think of when they have scrap metal is to take it to the dump. We’re here to tell you that we’ll actually PAY for your scrap AND recycle it in an environmentally friendly way.
Happy People + Happy Planet = Happy Moffatt Scrap Iron & Metal Inc.
Our friendly staff will guide you through the process of weighing your scrap material on our certified scales. Payment is processed at the time of drop off by cash or cheque. You can check out different household items we accept here!
Customers who simply want to dispose of their metal goods are welcome to use our 24/7 drop off service. Disposing your metal goods at our facility avoids the dumping fee charged at other disposal sites.
2. We Will Come Pick It Up If It’s Too Heavy To Transport
Do you have metal that’s too big, awkward or impossible to transport with a car? Moffatt Scrap Iron & Metal Inc. has the equipment needed to pick up your scrap material for you. We save you the worry and hassle! In order for us to pick it up it needs to be at least 1 ton or 2000 pounds (a car, for example, is 1.5 tons) and it will be valued at a reduced rate.
We pride ourselves in the services we offer! If you have any questions, are unsure of some of our services or have some scrap, we would love to hear from you. Contact us today!

Hey there , I have a few questions and I wasn’t sure where to start. My husband and I bought a 1930’s Ford dump truck , and we are looking to get rid of the “ dump “ portion of it. The vehicle in total is about 5000lbs but I’m not sure of the exact weight of the bed. Or how to go about selling it off, thank you for any advise you can give me 🙂
