Our Container Sizes
The team at Moffatt Scrap Iron & Metal Inc. provides drop off, pick up, switch, and live loading at your location for scrap metal collection. We will also provide removal services for oversized ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal.
We offer roll-off containers and bin services in the following sizes:
Tipper Bins
These rolling bins vary in size and tip for easy loading and dumping.
10 Yards
A 10 yard bin is 10′ long, 7′ wide, and 4′ high. It fills the same space as a single parking spot.
14 Yards
A 14 yard bin is 15’ long, 7’ wide, and 5’ high. It fills roughly the same space as a parking spot and a half.
20 Yards
A 20 yard bin is 19’ long, 7’ wide, and 6’ high. It fills the same space as two parking spots end-to-end.
40 Yards
A 19 yard bin is 19’ long, 7’ wide, and 8’ high. It fills the same space as two parking spots end-to-end.
